Training Guidelines and Standards

♦ Bill 160 received Royal Assent on June 1st, 2011. It is considered an “Enabling Statute” allowing the Ministry of Labour (MOL) to establish minimum training standards. Mandatory training delivered by approved training providers is expected. All En-Safe courses will be retooled to meet applicable MOL training standards when they become available.

♦ En-Safe certificate courses are designed and approved by a Professional Engineer to meet or exceed legislative and industry standards and best practices. Also, courses strive to meet ANSI® Z490.1-2009 (ANSI Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training) or they are in the process of being retooled to meet this standard.
